About Lauren

Lauren is an illustrator, graphic designer, artist and educator. Based in her home studio in Adelaide, South Australia, Lauren spends her time illustrating children's books, exploring the natural world and developing workshops in art, drawing fundamentals and environment design.

Lauren has illustrated a number of children's books, with her latest junior fiction released in early 2025. With a background in advertising, marketing and graphic design, she has developed graphics for a number of educational publications, programmed marketing campaigns and contributed to a number of commercial projects. ​She loves visiting schools and running illustration workshops, where children have a hands on experience creating their own designs and characters.

Lauren is currently the Regional Coordinator, South Australia for SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators), a member of Adelaide Illustrators and CBCA (Children's Book Council of Australia) and was previously the Program Manager for Writers SA.
